I don’t know if its just me being stupid or perhaps my brain is wired the wrong way round but I do have tendency to muddle up song words or completely change them to what I want them to be. I then refuse to believe what the actual written down words are and will now forever sing “We built this city on sausage rolls”

When speaking to other people I find that I am not alone in doing this and have heard many stories of amusing changes. A few of my favourites include:

• R-Whites, R-Whites for you (I’ll wait, I’ll wait for you)
• Cherry Pie, Cherry Pie (Can’t read mind, can’t read minds)
• Fuck you I won’t tidy my bedroom (Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me)

So I wonder is it just me who does this, or am I not alone in being thick or mental? Anyone care to share your shame?
