I love how empowering this song is and is a lot of what I would say given half the chance but maybe with a few more swears.

Also I take it as a bit of a fuck you. A final twist of the knife when telling them both “I hope he treats you better” when you know he’s a bastard and always will be. And a bastard never changes no matter what bullshit they come out with.
